I am listening to Christmas music from a radio station in Springfield, MO 88.3 The Wind and there was a small story of a young boy who is going through the stage of believing that God made EVERYTHING.
But the story goes that they were riding through the neighborhood and there were some Christmas lights up and he says from the back seat, “God did a good job”.
Really, who did put those lights up? I will agree with the boy. God did do a good job!. He created light (Genesis 1:3). He created us (Genesis 1:26-27). He gave us knowledge and understanding (Job 32:8; 38:36) , He gave us the strength (Isaiah 40:28-30) to put those lights up, etc.
And I like James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
So the boy was right
God did a good job!
